    Re: Trying again.....

    Well done so far
Organising your menus from the food on the induciton list is definitely the way to go

Getting on the scale each day is not neccessarily a bad thing depending on how you react to the result. If seeing the same weight for a few days (or a small gain ) is likely to throw you into a panic then it is a good idea to avoid the potential problem, but if you can treat it as a scientific recording of how your body is acting and accept the normal fluctuations we all see then go ahead and weigh daily

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Good job! You have already done the hardest part in my opinion, getting through the first three days. Now that the sugar is out of your system it is so much easier to make rational food decisions.

I'll give you a tip. I lost 65 pounds at one point and then I kept falling off the wagon. I gained back 20 of those pounds. I figured out that it was diet pop/soda. I would have 1-3 per day and couldn't figure out why it was suddenly harder to stay on plan. I have given up the Diet Coke completely and I feel just like I did in the first few months of Atkins. I guess I just didn't want to admit that I couldn't have my Diet Coke. I'm over that now. LOL So my tip is... learn to love your water.

I was down to 175 in 2007 and I will get back there again!

I agree totally. Great tip. Aspertame in them diet drinks will make you have hunger cravings and will stall weight loss.
