We're seeing a lot of posts regarding a week or two pause in the scale moving again. Lots of newer folks getting upset or flustered by the scale fluctuating.
I've been at this quite a long time now (about 5 1/2 years) and I thought I'd post my weight log for the last several weeks so you can all see what is a *very normal* pattern. Now- I maintained at goal for quite some time and then smacked 19lbs on that I've been working at taking back off again.
This pattern applies to most everyone to some degree or another. Obviously there are going to be variations of this variation
- but I thought maybe peeking at mine might help someone out there!
Here we go!

As you can see from this ginormous log- from September 10th-October 24th, I stayed within the same 2.5lbs. That's 6 weeks!
Yes. Those 6 weeks were frustrating and you can see that I wasn't weighing in daily for awhile because I was frustrated. But I knew logically that with the eating and exercise I was putting in, the weight *would* move - and look at how it's dropped off in the last 14 days!! In the last 14 days I've dropped 7.8lbs. For me that's a HUUUUUUUGE drop in a very short period of time.
I guess what all this comes down to is that persistance pays off. It really does.
Hang in there!!
