  • I ate breakfast today :)

i didnt skip it as i had the previous two days. i had like 5 peices of celery with cream cheese. water too, of course.

bad news, i did skip lunch today, not by design but.....i just didnt make myself anything. but during the 30 minutes i have for lunch.....i did walk 1.9 miles

for dinner tonight i had a lot of chicken, just chicken though. i need to go shopping to get more vegetables and stuff.

and lastly.......i am thinking tomorrow morning:

i will cut up some red peppers and oinions, maybe cut up three or 4 sausages and even then, i was thinking anyway, cut up some shrimp. we have some frozen shrimp in the freezer.....and i was thinking that would be pretty interesting.

please comment on the foods i have eaten and will eat tomorrow.......

    thanks in advance,
    chris

I'm sure you'll hear this one often, but...

Veggies - You need to make sure you have them. Almost all of my carbs come from them.

Also, don't feel like you need to skimp on the food to lose weight. In fact, the opposite will happen. You need to eat to keep your metabolism going so that you don't go into starvation mode and start storing fat. For me, the less I eat the less I lose. It takes a bit to get into that routine, but it works.

I also recommend that you go to fitday.com and set up a free account. You can then enter in your food each day to make sure you are hitting the requirement for protein, fats, and carbs. Really helps you pay attention to what you are doing.

Watch out on the sausages, some have a lot of sugar and sodium included that could cause stalls.

Definately keep on it though. There will be ups and downs, but once it starts coming off, it's amazing how good you will feel and easy it will become to get the proper amounts of foods in you.

There are plenty of people here that have been on this a lot longer than I have that will have great comments for you, so please keep on coming here with questions. You wouldn't believe how many people will have the same question you did.

Ditto on what was said above. You should check the sodium AND sugar content, plus starches, etc. Reading labels is very important.
You also need three cups of veggies on induction. Later you'll be able to up your intake.
Skipping meals isn't good either. In the book it says you should eat every 3-5 hours, I believe. It'll make a world of a difference. Make sure you eat something for breakfast from now on, even if it's something small. Very important.
Also remember that eating too many processed meats (sausages, lunch meat, hot dogs, etc) increases your chances of having colorectal cancer.
