Re: carb controlled strawberry shake HELP

Oh I understand abbout learning from experience! I just found it odd that on several occassions, Newbies were told they weren't following the book, but indeed they may well have been. Atkins Nutrionals must have already gotten their paws on the 2002 edition
For me, I don't find the "stuff" worth the cost. I had regularly purchased erythritol, oat fiber, coconut flour, black soybeans and unsweetened choclate. I still own a good portion of the psyllium husk I bought......a bit goopy for my tastes. Tried the carbquick once-yuck. Reisistant starch was ok, but I didn't trust it. I am Curious about the Dreamfield pastas though.

Actually, I'd be surprised if anyone ever said someone wasn't following the book for having a shake or bar... we know that's in there, but just don't recommend... however, they are ONLY eating shakes or bars, that's different, because the book certainly doesn't say that's okay...

Anyway, thanks for understanding our good intentions. As I said, you're doing the right thing by diving so deep into this stuff!

I've done the pasta a couple of times without problem. I recommend (only a recommendation based on my own experiences) that you are paying very close attention to everything you eat and the exercise you do each day to establish a basis for comparison before trying something new. There is nothing I dislike more than to go a couple of weeks with no weight loss or measurement loss and have absolutely no idea if it was because of the new item I ate or something else I did/didn't do.
