For those on the dairy rung, Greek Yogurt is great.
For two or three years I have flavoured it with vanilla extract , sweetened it with Splenda and thrown berries on the top. Fresh when available, otherwise frozen.
Mixing the berries into the yogurt is good too, but can make the yogurt too runny. I have taken to thickening defrosted mashed blueberries with xanthum gum or ground flax seeds. In this case I use Hermesetas liquid which is saccharin based and Atkins legal. If the berry mix is made a little thicker than the yogurt a very tasty desert results with a nice feel in the mouth. The yogurt I use in Germany is 10% fat and is actually labelled "Turkish", but it's the same stuff.
Give it a try, if you are on the dairy rung - but go easy, or count the calories.
