Well I told myself I would not do this, fall off the wagon, just cuz it was Thanksgiving!!! Ohhhh i feel horrible...If i could kick myself i would big time.. Now i am feeling bloated and yucky and horribly mad at myslef for this. But to come here and spill my guts will help put me back on track I think. I have been having a bad time with self-sabatoge anyhow and this took it to the highest level..I ate lots of carbs and kept doing it even these days after thanksgiving. So I am climbing back on the wagon right now. It's will take me at least a few weeks to get back to the point I was at..Gezzzzzzzzzzzzz how dumb was this I say!! VERY!! Anyhow thanks for listening...hugs Cheryl~

Re: Fell Off the LOWCARB wagon..uh-oh...
I know I don't know you well yet, I'm fairly new to the boards ... but all I have to say is we all make mistakes and you did the first step which is acknowledging it! It will take some strength to hop on but you can do it! Think of how much better you will feel after those 3 (sometimes) tough weeks.

Re: Fell Off the LOWCARB wagon..uh-oh...
Thank you all for your help and words of wisdom!! It is very true that it is not worth it at all. But i think your right too about not beating myself over it. I did make myslef increase my sit -ups and work out. Plus i think now i have lost a few of the pounds i had regained and feel not sooooo bloated now thank goodness.. And you know when you cheat like that, the food that you think in your mind will taste sooooooo great is really over-rated after you eat it you find it was not worth it...Also i have had to come to terms with why i am sabotching<sorry not a good speller> myself so much.. I think in a strange way i am scared to lose it, not sure why i am but i am trying my best to figure that out. At any rate thank you all for letting me know I was not alone. And you know after the one Dr.Pepper i drank it was soooooooooo sugery<is this a word?? LOL > i had to drink a whole bottle of water to get the taste out of my mouth...is that crazy or what??? I am back on the wagon and trying my best to get backl to where i was before the cheat and i think i can battle Christmas a lot better now that i have the cheat, which was not worth it over and done with..lets hope at least..LOL thanks everyone!! many hugs to you all Cheryl~

Re: Fell Off the LOWCARB wagon..uh-oh...
The best thing to do is to get right back into action....and figure out why you jumped off. Make a written plan on what could have done instead of jumping. If you have it figured out ahead of time, it will be easier next time temptations or issues pop into your life. (and they will)... so be prepared. Be prepared. We're here for you!Starting Date 3/12/04 285/165/145 - F

Dedication gives wings to our dreams and keeps them in flight! In One Word...COMMITTMENT.

Re: Fell Off the LOWCARB wagon..uh-oh...
I agree with Becky... If you can see why you fell off the wagon (even though TG is an obviously tempting time, there might have been, say, one particular food that called your name, or an episode or something), you can create a strategy of avoidance for another time.
Good for you for getting back on track before more damage was done. Now, look to the future!
