      How is this for funny, I was doing a little research today and I found this: http://www.barillaus.com/Home/pages/...arb_Diets.aspx (Barilla sells pasta by the way)

      "Studies have linked extreme low-carb/high-fat diets to an increased risk of developing certain disease states, including:
      • blindness and macular degeneration"

      The first article I have in this thread tells how high carb diets are suspected to be the cause of age-related macular degeneration, the second article tells us the low carb diets are suspected of causing age-related macular degeneration.



      I wish science was trying to make us healthy instead of trying to make money. *sigh*
