    Hey guyz, i feel stressed again

    i'm on induction, and battling to get enough fat in the diet, as i dont really eat butter or mayonaise, besides every bottle of mayonaise in england seems to be filled with carbs

    so i tend to have my cheese allowance at dinner and a lamb chop

    and pork rhinds which i have just snacked on

    I just looked at the ingredients

    Pork Rhind, pork fat, slt, flavour enhancers re monosodium , glutmte, hydrolysed vegetable protein, ruk (wheatflour, salt), dextrose, and colours are paprika extract, ammonia caraml

    it says contains wheat gluten and soya

    so did i just mess up? i liked the crunch crunch in my salad, so i had two small packets yesterdy

    each packet contains 0.3 g of carbs, and says 0.0 which sugars

    so did i mess everything up?

    There are pork rinds that don't have any ingredients besides pork skin, oil and salt. You need to shop around and check labels. Don't worry about the damage you might have done, just stop eating those and find some that are legal.

      would that mean im out of ketosis and have to basically start all over again

        Nope, and its probably that small of an amount it wont bother you, but continued use would, just omit them for the future!

          I buy Lidl's fullfat mayo which has only 0.9 carbs per 100 gram (3.5 ounces). Have you a lidl near you? They also do great cheeses.

          I havent found any UK pork scratchings which dont have rusk in them so have stopped buying them at all. You can get the american-style ones from the various lowcarb websites in UK.

          For crunchy snacks have you tried the cheese 'crackers' made by microwaving or baking small chunks of cheese? Or you can do the same with slices of cooked ham/turkey/salami etc.
