  • New Years fiasco..

So New Years would have gone off without a hitch, were it not for the massive hangover I got the next day. For all you dieters out there with low alcohol tolerance (like me), it is NOT a good idea to drink Jack Daniels, Captain Morgan, and Grey Goose until you can't see straight. The next day I had such a massive hangover that I felt like I was dying, but I didn't have the fiasco until...

My boyfriend thought it would settle my stomach to eat some bread. Four pieces of toast later... (Warning, TMI ahead!)

I threw up and instantly felt better. However for the rest of the day I had a queasy stomach, so he gave me rice. =( So my induction was ruined by not only the copious ammounts of alcohol, but by the carbs consumed the next day. So binge drinking (for me at least) is definately a no-no on this diet.

As a former binge drinker (took up most of my college days ) I must say, I wonder why I ever did anything so mean to my body.

I agree. Looking back, I image what I'm doing to my poor liver. I know it isn't anything good.

I learned this lesson a few times in University and now I never drink. Too many bad and painful hangover memories!
