    Screaming with excitement!!!!

    Well, I just did my weigh in this AM--it is 5 weeks today since I started induction and I am now on OWL rung 1.

    I was hoping that my weight would just stay the same since I did have a "few" bourbon and waters on New Years Eve and ate quite a bit, even though everything I ate was **legal** it was still more than usual. I am also still struggling with daily exercise .

    I weighed and lost 4 more pounds this week, for a total of 17 pounds lost in 5 weeks. This is truly astounding to me and I can honestly say that this WOE continues to amaze me. I am so glad I discovered DANDR and !!!!!

                          Well, I have now calmed down and have replaced the excitement with horror after pulling out my "challenge" bikini and trying it on. Holey guacamole it looks BAD!!!!!

                          I am thinking that bikinis ought to be illegal for almost 50 year old women.

                          Now, I have a question. Does anyone have a good idea how I can let my DH take my challenge pictures wearing this without him actually seeing me in it?

                                          First, yahoo on 17 pounds in 5 weeks! Does your camera have a self-timer?? Most do. Just put it on a tripod or on a firm, level surface and take the pictures yourself! You've got 10 seconds to get posed after you click the shutter. I take all my own pictures.

                                              Great suggestion Sunny--I may have to break out my camera manual and figure out how to do the timer. If not, DH will just have to close his eyes while taking the pictures Seriously, after 23 years together he has pretty much seen me at my best and worst and will take the pictures if requested and not say a word. That's just the kind of guy he is...

                                              I want to tell you again how **wonderful** your pictures are--your story in the "I Am Worth It" challenge really is amazing. You are such a strong woman!
