Opinions? I feel it's very one sided and it made me a little angry to watch it. Maybe because I feel she omitted a lot of important information. Perhaps it should have been titled "Why not to do Atkins"

I see things like this all the time. It makes me kind of sick that nobody cares about the science behind Atkins, they just look for excuses to keep eating the way they want.

It is deeply saddening that someone who is a spokesperson for the American Dietetics Association cannot even take the time to educate herself properly about Atkins before making the nonsensical and, frankly, ignorant statements she does.

Of course they make their living pushing the low-fat mantra, so what can you expect?

I just feel honored to be in the 1 percent out of the world that does this diet. We definitely are the smartest 1 percent in the world. Hoorah for us.
That lady left out so so much, I eat way more veggies now than I ever did in my life.

Wow!!!! That was unbelieveably biased and ignorant. Truly sad... (shaking head...) Does anyone ever read the book completely through???? for themselves???? Sounds like she didn't do her research, but left it to an assistant who didn't do their job... That was definately anti-Atkins! How rediculous!

That woman doesn't seem to have a clue about what she is saying. She doesn't even have her facts right, how very sad. I love how Atkins is a "fad" because it's restrictive, but aren't all diets? Isn't that the point of changing your eating habits, to take away the food the is bad for you?

I personally think that bashing on Atkins is the new "fad" and those too lazy to do their research are always first in line to cas the first stone. At least she is right about one thing, Atkins will rear it's "ugly head" again as more and more medical professionals start listening to the facts and start educating themselves on a truly healthy way to live.

I agree with whoever said they are eating more veggies now. I eat WAY more now than I ever have, either on a diet or when I've been on a calorie/WW diet
