  • Can you eat pork skins on induction?

I love those things and they have no carbs. Legal?

I'm on my third day, and this is not as easy as I thought!

I eat them..not sure if they are legal or not.. But remember they have salt and salt makes you retain water.... Although I keep them in the car and they help me to get home and not stop anywhere.. But I only eat a few....

Yes, but due to the salt content you have to be careful. Salt leads to water retention. Limit to a handful a day

check the ingredients for any sugars, but yeah, theyre okay, in moderation, they are full of salt so may make you retain water which means those scales will be up tomorrow!

As Emma suggeasted, make sure you check the list of ingredients, as some, especially the flavoured ones, have things like sugar/dextrose etc and in UK 'rusk' which is a wheat product added to bulk up the product!

I like the spicy ones best (in moderation) and when I'm really living on the edge, I will buy some whipped cream cheese- chives or garlic & herb flavor, and scoop some of that with them.

I just tried the pork rind french toast and was utterly amazed at what pig skin could accomplish

Only the plain and a couple of the flavored ones are legal. We have a salt and vinegar one, that oddly enough, has less salt than the plain ones. We also have a hot and spicy one with no off plan ingredients. All the BBQ ones have sugar and other no-nos.

I find the pork rind to be the most useful Atkins legal product out there. So good used as a coating for fried chicken and pork chops. Makes yummy french toast and mixed with some other legal ingredients makes crunchy crackers. You have to be on rung 3, nuts and seeds, to eat the crackers.

Pork skins are great, just for the crunch! I just need 1 or 2 to fullfill that crunch need! And even then have to drink a glass of water!
