  • WOW! Am I out of shape!

    Went back to the gym today after a looooong time. I am so out of shape it is shocking. I used to be a pro dancer (many years ago)...I guess I never thought that i could get this out of shape. It was a struggle to get through 30 min of light cardio. Stupid me.

    The good news is that I feel great right now.

    It doesn't take much to get out of shape. It is alot easier infact to get out of shape, than to get in shape! I hadn't worked out for over a year, as a result of laziness, and when I started again, 2 weeks ago, I did a little at a time, and worked my way up to about 1 hour/day. I am up to 5 days/week, and almost consider it a habit now. Good for you for getting back into it. It makes us feel & look better in the long run!

      Good for you for getting back to the gym. Won't be too long before you're feeling able to cope more. The more you do, the more energised you'll get... but I'm positive you already know this!

        Stick at it!, In a few weeks time that 30 min cardio session will be a breeze

          You are doing amazing by just trying! It's tough to exercise when you drag around excess weight and your muscles forgot what their role is! If you find the gym too much, walking is a pretty good starter. It's what I do the most of cause my knees and back resnet my efforts!!

            I can relate! Totally off the exercise during the holidays and just re-started yesterday, it was tough!

            You can do it, you'll notice a difference each time you do it!!!
