  • time to regroup! (positive thoughts)

i've been off the board (and semi-off the diet) for about 2 1/2 weeks now, argh! However, in keeping with my new year's resolution to try to think more positively about myself, my body, and my efforts, I'd just like to note that even having gone off atkins completely for a week and then having had more cheat days than on days, i still didn't gain the kind of weight that i usually gain over the holidays-- maybe a pound or two. However, I am now ready to recommit to a by-the-book induction for 2 weeks. As a definite carb addict and hypoglycemic I just really notice a difference in my relationship to food (less desire to overeat, less food cravings) even when I am doing a not-so-strict atkins; when i am being very strict i have so much energy i even need less sleep! Anyway, I'm excited and hope that this time I'll have really good results. My highest weight was 170, my current weight is 152, and my goal weight is 130
    good luck all!

Cee Cee - what a great attitude and great reasons to lose the weight!

Better sleep, better relationship with food, more energy!... who could ask for more!

Keep us posted on your progress!
