  • Heading into first weekend...yikes

    It's friday and friday nights have always been where I have stumbled in the past. It starts with a couple of glasses of wine (that I rationalize will be OK). the next day I feel terrible because the wine hits me really hard during induction. Then I start to eat things I shouldn't eat (rationalizing the whole time) and before I know it I've completely blown it.

    I know that this is my hurdle and I know I can get over it. I just have to do it! I look forward to posting about my successful weekend on monday!!!

    Skip the wine. It's just for a while and without it you'll make much better decisions about food. You will feel SOOOO much better if you can complete a really clean induction and know so much more about yourself too. Not to mention how much better you'll feel about yourself. Don't deny yourself that buzz for the shorter lived one of a glass of wine.

      Tough it out for a day or two and after that, it really gets easier. I too was scared to death at taking out the wine, but I survived. If I can, anyone can!
      The alcohol rung of OWl isn't too far away. You can get there!

        This is my first weekend too! We can do this together!! I plan on going grocery shopping today and getting GOOD food and treating myself to a new workout video and sticking with it!

          Think of how well you've done so far. You can do it. Why don't you make sure that you have induction friendly snacks around for the weekend!
