    I started this diet because my doctor put me on a low carb low suger diet and said to just do the atkins diet .... I am still confused about what i can and can not eat.... i can anyone give me a meal plan or something to help me get going good... thanks

    i am assuming you don't have the book. that would be the first course of action. we use the 2002 Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution or as you might see if referred to as DANDR

    rather than telling you a long list of do's and don'ts and what's allowed and what's not, i've provided a few links for you until you get your copy of the book.
    please note that atkins in not a low sugar diet or way of eating (woe). it's a no sugar woe. yes, splenda is allowed and other types of sweetners that you will read about but no sugar and no white flour. these things you will read about.
