  • need some help

My husband and I are in the induction phase, doing really well so far, no cheats. However, we are both craving deep fried food, to the point where we'd probably cut off our pinkies in order to have some. What can we cook/buy that won't break our diet? Anything?

It depends...what kind of fried food do you want?

You can cook chicken wings in a deep fat fryer (don't use flour or batter to coat them) then douse them with hot sauce and butter for Buffalo wings. If you use the search feature on the Board there is a recipe for pumpkin chips (potato chips, but made with fresh pumpkin instead.)

Some people dip foods into egg then grated parmesan or groundup pork rinds then deep fry them to get the floured deep fried effect.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
