Well, I think I'm at that point. I've lost basically all the weight I'm going to, and even if I lose more, there's some parts of me that just won't go away. I have the dreaded "bingo wings" (the loose skin/hanging fat under your arms). I've always had them, even when I was a teen and skinny, but of course age and putting on/taking off so much weight made it worse. I think it's partly genetic.
So, I have a consultation in one week with a doctor here in Seoul. He has good credentials, is a leader in his field, studied in the US (among other places) and speaks very good English. Of course, I'm still very scared. If I get it done, it will be the first weekend in February, so very soon.
There are all sorts of web site with cosmetic surgery info and stuff, but I'd like to hear from anyone here that's had any work done. There's simply no way this loose skin is going away on its own, and there's a lot of it - to the point where my kids (I teach Kindergarten) ask me, "what this?" and grab my arm when I wear any kind of short sleeves. And I'm only 26.
I guess I'm just looking for any positive personal experience or encouragement at this point. All the cosmetic surgery web sites I've been on have done much more to instill dread than excitement, although I know the recovery/pain will be bad for awhile.
