  • Planning to Resist Temptation

    Yesterday was my step-son's B-Day, and we invited all the kids over for dinner. I knew I was going to have a cake for him, his favourite chocolate cake, with chocolate icing, and I must admit, that's my favourite as well! So I thought ahead & made my famous Atkins cheesecake. They ate the chocolate, & DH and I ate the cheesecake with whipped cream, totally satisfying our sweet tooth! I made a roast for dinner, with salad, potatoes, baked turnips, vegies roasted, so there was food for us, and them. They ened up eating alot of our foods, without even realizing that it was part of our Atkins plan. I was 100% on plan, and did not look or feel out of place. So with proper advanced planning, anyone can stay on plan, and not be tempted by eating the wrong foods!

    Ummm...I have yet to make the Cheesecake this time around, but wow it sounds really good right now! Good Job, and your dinner sounded great!
