    After 2 weeks in induction i felt amazing my tummy was going shrimking
    this morning i weight myself to realize that this week i didnt lose a pound even though i know i ate to much cheese ! BUT not to many carbs ..,maybe 16-20 per day...
    TODAY I ATe everYThING FROM CEREAL< MILK<BREAD< PAsTA Chocolate...ect ..I feel
    DISGUSTING !!
    What should i do ?
    should i fast for tomorow and purge myself to clean my system and
    start induction again ?
    i really dont know what happen ...im very dissapointed on myself ..
    i feel bad and bloated ...HELP

    you should restart induction , imo.
    And I know when I first started I had moments like these and even though I am guilty of it also, don't let the scale be the final say in your weight loss. Are you taking measurements? I set aside 1 day a month to measure & weigh (even if I weigh everyday cause I'm slightly obsessed) But that one day is when I write down in a journal the totals for all the areas measured and the weigh in amount. If you do this once a month you will see the difference. I also take pictures in the same clothes and poses that day every month and belief me even if I feel like I look the same as when I started (and I do feel that way) the pictures don't lie. They are my motivation when I feel like you do.

      Don't fast! They say you should eat every six hours at least. You know Atkins is working for you as you stated your stomach was shrinking... Throw the scale away - they are evil (LOL)... if you are like me the scale doesn't come into play for a while & hence becomes a "trigger point" for me - I judge how the plan is working on the way my clothes fit --- they baggier the happier I am. You said you were feeling amazing, so you need to keep on going - the pounds will start to disappear - they took time to put on and it will take time to come off - but with this plan/way of life -- they will come off.

      Since I am pretty new at this (for the second time ) I'm not sure if you have to restart induction or just get yourself back on track... However, if you found induction easy - then it might not be a bad idea.... Also if you are craving sweet's go to Lindas Low Carb Recipe board -- she has some really good recipes that are induction friendly!

      Take Care & don't beat yourself up - we all fall sometimes the important thing is to pick yourself back up and learn from your mistakes.

        Just pick yourself up and get back to it. You're human, you're gonna mess up sometimes. It's okay. As long as you never give up, then you are a winner. I wouldn't fast, if it was me, but I would go back on induction until I got back into ketosis again. I'm proud of you for seeing that you boo-boo'ed and owning up to it and being ready to get back at it. You CAN do this!

          The scales are just plain evil in the beginning. Maybe try weighing urself less. And just go by how you feel. Start induction again and do not weigh until ur done! And measure urself too before you start. That way if u didnt lose any weight, u know them inches will be gone!! Then you will still feel motivated to keep going

            I agree with the others - dont fast, just get back to eating on plan

            And definitely take measurements so you have an extra way of judging your progress. Remember, though it is nice to see the scales validate our choice of Atkins, it is more important to lose fat, so getting smaller is better than seeing the scales move.

            After all your friends wont know what the scales say unless you tell them but they will see your body changing shape!!

              Don't fast! Just make sure the next bite of food that goes into your mouth is atkins friendly.

                Don't keep dwelling on your negative thoughts about what you did. It's done and there's nothing you can do to change what is past, but you can do something positive towards moving forward. I would go back on inductions levels for 48 hours to get back in ketosis and stop the cravings and then move on to OWL. Keep your thoughts positive and dwell on how good you felt and your shrinking tummy. Carb monsters are evil and they will try to lure you into eating carbage every chance they get.

                    Please make sure you take pictures and measurements!

                    I bet your body changed in 2 weeks even though the scale didn't.

                    Get back into induction, make a menu, limit your cheese and try it again, we're all human here.

                      I gave my husband my scale to hide until the end of the month. I started and saw a noticable difference so I thought I would weigh! I had gained a pound! I cried the rest of the afternoon. Gladly, I didn't blame myself so much as the scale but I was devastated. But, I have been exercising and eating so well, I had been losing inches. I could even see it in my stomach. Don't beat yourself up over it. The scale is the one who should suffer. Prove it wrong.

                        Don't fast! Just move ahead, and go back on plan, and don't look backwards. Afterall we are all human, and mistakes are made! But don't dwell on them. We can turn our negatives into positives, with our attitude, so just do it! Looking forward to hearing about more of your successes in the future.
