Try to make some recipes with falxseed meal or flaxseed sprouts. It worked for me very well.

What about Senacot...It is all natural. I take it 2 times a week and it helps me in a gentle way.

Are the 'required' veg you are eating high fibre veg?

I believe you are still on induction, though I may be wrong. If so, I'd suggest moving up right away to the veg rung of OWL, upping your veg 5g a day and making sure you get as much of your total veg as possible from the higher fibre choices.

This is a list of veg that are particularly high in fibre (all have around half their carbs, or even more, as fibre) and are allowed at this stage:

            4-6g of fibre per cup:

            Brussel Sprouts
            Canned Pumpkin
            Turnip Greens
            Spinach
            Broccoli
            Canned mushrooms

            2-4g of fibre per cup:

            Peppers
            Celery
            Green Beans
            Cauliflower
            Asparagus

Eating enough high fibre veg on a regular basis will help a LOT, and prevent you from having to resort to other options.

I ran into problems my first week of Induction and used Traditional Medicinals Smooth Move Tea. It has senns leaf and other natural ingredients. You drink it before bed and, at least for me, it fixes you right up. It's all natural ingedients and legal. There's a tiny bit of orange but you can't even taste it and it certainly didn't stall my weight loss. Health food stores have it, and some grocers do as well. I dound ot at Albertson's.

I second the magnesium, a nice large dose will get you moving, as will 1000+ mg of vitamin C.

Have you been exercising regularly? They say it helps.
If you absopositutely need it, you could use a laxative..but that stuff is so hard on the body.
Try exercising and eating high fiber veggies. I normally eat Jicama and it does the trick for me. Hope you feel better soon.

                        Re: Warning: GRAPHIC

to eliminate the issue right now i reccomend a stool softner or laxative. stool softner helps it be more comfortable while a laxative stimulates the colon to evacuate it and can sometimes be like a water faucet.

AFTER that I reccomend making sure you take fier or eat high fiber veggies. Try drinking a gallon of water a day. That will help. Other than that I would think maybe greens or somethign. That ALWAYS works for me. 2 days of greens = relief.

Miralax is a gentle laxative that you can buy at a drug store. Widely recommended by physicians. Was once only available by prescription.

Of course as the others have said plenty of H20 & high fiber veggies.

Just do your absolute best to try and exhaust all other options first as stool softners and laxatives can be come addictive and if used enough oyur body can become dependent on them and not be able to #2 without them. do not rely o them

I would not suggest a laxative! My methods are LOTS and LOTS of water (that fiber soaks up a ton, and it won't "move" unless it has enough water to do so); lots of veggies with fiber; and regular exercise. I have NEVER had a problem going potty after a good run on the treadmill!
