It's the only thing that has worked for me.

      Good luck!

How much coconut oil do you take? I found an article that someone recommended 3 - 4 tablespoons daily. I plan on picking some up today.

I just started taking it on Monday. I started eating 1 teaspoon a day. It didn't kill me, so the next day I ate two teaspoons. It's actually yummy, melts in your mouth and is really nice to melt a little bit in your coffee (Just ignore the oil slick in your cup )
I'll probably have 3 teaspoons today. Just start out slow, see how your tummy reacts to it and gradually build up to what feels good for you. Make sure to spread it out during the day - that's a lot of oil to be wolfing down at once!

Good luck! Let us know what you think about it after you try it!

          Re: Warning: GRAPHIC

Can you, if all else fails, take an actual laxative? I would think removing your body of the built-up toxins is more important than avoiding the pharmacuetical versions (though I'm a bigger fan of natural methods, if they don't work, you can't help that)

If all the above fails you could always try an enema...its deff a last resort...but take it from someone who has ended up in the emergency room for this. (you dont want to wait that long) If your to the point of uncomfortableness I would..

Also, if it's been more than four days since your last BM you need to go from the other end and use a suppository. I use Fleet Glyceride Suppositories.

This being because there will be the first amount to come out that will possibly be painful to start or dificult. I have gone 5 days without a BM and taken a regular laxative. The suppository is to help with the part that would be kind of rough.

Absolutely support UrbanShaman here. I use this very Smooth Move herbal tea, it has tons of nice herbs PLUS senna leaf. Very pleasant taste, slightly sweet ( has stevia), and very gentle yet effective. I use it maybe 2 times per week.

PS - can get in many regular grocery stores.

maybe try increasing the fatty intake in your diet. The higher fat content going through your system (especially with such a low carb and fiber intake) should act as a natural lubricant to help everything move along.

good luck droppin the kids off at the pool.

I am a big supporter of Flax Seed Oil Capsules - I take 2 a day and have no problems. I do eat fiber rich veggies too. You can get flax seed capsules in the health food/organic parts of the grocery store. They are great and fairly inexpensive!

Ugh. I tried physillium husks and I ended up more constipated. I felt, and it looked like, I was passing logs. I had very bad rectal bleeding.

Then I again, I seem to be in the minority where fiber supplements actually make constipation worse. I read somewhere that there are such people. If fiber supplements make your condition worse, stop them immediately
