I am so happy with the amount of weight that I've lost so far. But, for the past two months or so it is getting really hard for me to loose the pounds. I could tell that I actually am still shrinking, but the pounds just takes forever to come off. Anyone else experiencing that? All I do is cardio (mostly running) and some light weight training. Should I switch it up a bit? Should I get gain some muscle to help burn more fat? I'm stuck at 280, better than 380 ,but I want to get down to 230-240.

Re: Having a little trouble!!!
Have you moved to OWL or are you still on induction levels? Many members find that starting to climb the OWL carbohydrate ladder seems to kickstart weightloss after a plateau.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Re: Having a little trouble!!!
If you haven't already done so, move to OWL! Staying on induction doesn't make you lose more weight, contrary to what it may seem. Many members have seen a "jumpstart" to their losses again after moving up to Rung 1 of OWL.
LIFT WEIGHTS! Lifting weights creates MUSCLE, which BURNS FAT. It also looks great, too! Muscle is metabolically active, meaning it burns calories even at rest. Fat is completely inactive and burns no calories. I feel the best when I have more strength training than cardio in my workout program.START 8/16/06 @ 270+~MG1: 220-12/2/06~MG2: 210-1/07~MG3: 199-3/2/07~MG4: 190-4/27/07~MG5: 180-7/04/07~GOAL: 170

Re: Having a little trouble!!!
Repeat after me . . .
Losing inches is better than losing ounces!
After all who apart from you will see the scales number? Everyone else will see your body getting trimmer and more sculpted which after all is what we are aiming for, isn't it?Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Re: Having a little trouble!!!
You're doing great! I love the confidence you exhibit in your latest picture, as opposed to the shyness in the first ones.
Please stick with it, the results are worth it, not just inches, not just pounds, but in your attitude and confidence.
To get yourself out of a plateau, ask yourself these questions:
How are your calories?
Are you eating your vegetables?
Can you switch up your exercise routine?
Do you find yourself cheating and/or need to go back to induction?
