    hmm. I think all of us know that feeling all too well. I think what we need to do though is instead of getting frustrated and then quitting we need to use that as motivation and pushing ourselves harder. Cheating only guarantees us not seeing results.

    I think we all need to have realistic goals. If weight loss was fast and easy then everyone would be in shape.

    you just gotta keep at it and not give in.


    btw how long has it been since you stopped having weight loss?

      Sure, eating to much processed foods, such as sausage or lunch meats, etc. You can have them, but you need to be careful. In addition, nuts, instead of 1 oz a day, I would eat more, just counting the carbs. Same with cheese. I think it was all enough to just through things off.

      What I know:
      1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
      2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
      3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
      4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

        I wonder if maybe you'd find more success by eating more. Or more fat? Sometimes our bodies actually cling to weight when they dont feel they are getting enough.

          I don't think its necessary to take a break. This is why Dr. Atkins said cheating is the kiss of death. Just shrug off the cheat and keep going! Make sure your next bite is atkins friendly!

          Some people need to take it day by day, others hour by hour, some even minute by minute. Find something that motivates you and keep it in sight! Maybe its that new size 10 bikini or favorite pair of pants that you cant fit into anymore. Whatever it is make sure you are able to keep it in mind!

          Also try setting some mini goals and then reward yourself when you get to them. Such as for every 10 lbs lost you get to buy yourself something new or go out somewhere you've never been!

          Use this board for support! We are here! Having a craving? Grab some water and hang out on the board. Read others postings, look at the before and after pics, search for recipes. Distract yourself!

          Finally, don't be so hard on yourself either. We are human we all make mistakes. Don't use this cheat as a punishment or an excuse to not eat. So what if the scale says something different? HOW DO YOU FEEL?? This seems to be more important to me. Do you have more energy? Are you sleeping better? I think how one feels is more important than how one weighs. Dont let the scale validate your life especially when the tape measurer is a better friend
