OK, I did something bad last night - I ate popcorn - loved every bite of it. and now I am in AGONY. Such terrrible gas pain I feel like I am being gutted. seriously...I could barely do up my pants this AM I am so bloated and my stomach actually hurts to the touch! So besides a hard lesson learned (def. NOT worth the cheat) is there anything I can do for the pain?

Re: terrible pain
Grains, like corn and wheat, can be a problem for people. I have some difficulty with wheat----no weight loss issues, but I start to wheeze when I eat it.
Anyhow, if that was popcorn from a microwave thingy, you might be having a reaction to all those chemicals they use on them. If you popped the corn yourself, then it could be a reaction to the corn.
When you reach the Grains Rung of OWL, you'll be able to test yourself better using different corn products like fresh corn, cornmeal, etc.

Re: terrible pain
if your getting the pain in your chest try lying on your left side with your right side up. That helps the gases escape toward the lungs instead and away from the heart.
If the pains are down below I reccomend walking it off. The move you move your lower body the more you will be able to move it out.
Also a teaspoon of baking soda and 4oz of water will help with gas.
you could also try something like beano or drink some carbonated soda like diet rite to help belch to help relieve some of it. but i still reccommend walking it off first. Try walkin gfor about 20-30 minutes. that should help.
I also lay on my stomach when I feellike that and it puts enough pressure on the stomach that it forces it out.

Re: terrible pain
I didn't get stomach pain. I serioussly just felt ill with a nasty headache. It is appropriately called the carb hangover. I hope to avoid it in the future.Tim
