  • Can you be in Ketosis and not lose weight?

Can you be in Ketosis and still not lose weight or inches? Does this mean you are in PISS? The reason I ask is I have not gone out of Ketosis since roughly Jan. 11th - yet I have not lost any additional pounds other than the ones I lost during induction . Yes - I have lost inches but don't feel that I am anymore. I drink LOTS of water so maybe I am retaining fluid - however I get thirsty as for whatever reason water doesn't seem to quench my thirst and constantly have dry mouth.

Hoping for any words of wisdom out there.

According to Dr Atkins a stall is when you have lost no weight OR inches for a 4 week period.
As you are losing inches you are not stalling, so try not to worry about it.

As Mirya said, many of us seem to alternate weight and inch loss interspersed with no change at all and this is absolutely normal.

Are you still on induction? Maybe moving to the first rung of OWL would be an idea?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

If you are on extended induction try moving up the rungs. It will more than likely reboot your weightloss.
