  • Prayers, please.

Over the weekend I went home to visit my family and my fiance went with me.
Anyway, he was playing with the kids and ended up hurting his knee very baldy.
He jumped off of a wall and spun in the air (a 360 as the kids call it) and he landed it, but he did something to his knee. I took him to the ER and they said they didn't see anything on the x-ray, but that the swelling was practically blood from the injury and that they won't know the full extent of the injury until he goes to a specialist. Today we're going to the orthopedic doctor. I really hope he'll be okay, but because he had an old injury to his knee we're thinking he may have to have surgery. When he tries to walk his knee collapses on him.
Please keep him in your prayers. I'll update you guys after we go to the Dr's this afternoon

okay things adults should NEVER do:

      1. 360's
      2. Jump roping on a incline (reason I hurt my knee - though not as bad as fiancee)

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Unfortunately for me - I am allergic to codine so doctor was able to prescribe any pain killers that I could work on. Currently at my desk with knee propped up on a box with ice pack.

You guys are in my prayers. i injured my knee in a show I was doing and it acted the same way you describe his. Thankfully, I just had to keep it stabilized and do some physical therapy and I will pray that he will only need that as well.

                      Re: Prayers, please.

Sorry to have left you hanging and thank you for all of your prayers.
We have to wait ten days for the inflammation to go down. The doctor was worried about the cartilage in his knee and the tendons or ligaments in the back of the knee.
In essence we're playing the waiting game.
Anyway, he's feeling a little tiny bit better, but it's still swollen and achy.
Again, thanks for your prayers and I'll keep you posted
