So i'm a buyer for a really big Day Spa and all my Vendors often take me out for dinners or drinks or whatever .... Usually some upscale steak or seafood restaurant so theres no problem .. i can always order a steak & veggies.. or some salmon or whatever .. its usually not an issue

So the rep from this big skincare line calls me and asks me to join her and several other people for dinner tonight .... They are going to a really nice restaurant that serves Asian cuisine.. Iv heard the place is GREAT, but im a little concerned about the menu .. ugg im kinda dreading it actually ...

Worst case sinario i hope they at least have a salad that doesnt contain a bunch of junk .. i dont know i just dont want to be caught in some akward situation where i have nothing to order .. ya know ..

    Wish me luck everyone ...

You can usually order things without the sauce especially if it is a nicer place. Steamed veggies and meat are safe bets. Tofu and broccili etc.

I had Asian food last night, it was great! Some Asian restaurants will grilled meat and steamed veggies but I know many don't. Last night I had chilli chicken ramen from Wagamama but with no noodles. So it was the spicy pork/chicken broth, chicken breast, bean sprouts and a few other bits of veg thrown in like coriander and onion. So good!

Indian food is my absolute fave.
Just dont order the rice...most dishes will be fine, but just ask the waiter for the dishes with no or minimal sauce.
Asian food is just a taste sensation!

          How did it go, Sarah?

It actually went pretty well ... The restaurant served everyhing A La Cart .. with a small bowl or rice on the side ... so we ordered several items ( Garlic beef, sweet & sour pork, ginger chicken, veggies, stuff like that ) .. and i just ate mostly the beef, some chicken .. the pork had too much sause.. and the veggies were in a cream sause and im not sure what it was so i avoided that too ...It was actually nice that they put the rice on the side so it never even touched my plate..

I did have a glass of wine though .. but it was just one and it didnt seem to affect me to bad .. i lost 7 lbs last week

            Thanks for asking!!!!!!
