      Wow Britt, talk about a whopper of a **** ball weekend. Im sorry to hear about Molly. I think you made the right decision in getting her to the PRA lady. With all the other family stuff going on at least you can take comfort in that Molly is being well taken care of. So now you can concentrate on being back on the atkins wagon. Woohooo, It didnt sound like you did too bad that last 2 days. Well at least it doesnt show as much on the scale. Maybe its just water weight.

      Kristi, congrats on getting into those jeans. I have a couple of those that I have held onto thinking one day I will get into them. I think I will need to loose another 10lbs before I can get into them comfortably.

        Thanks AM! I had a couple other pairs of jeans like that, but I can't find them anymore. I think I got rid of them a while ago thinking I'd never fit them again.

          Dinner turned into breakfast round two =) Yay for hubbies who can make poached eggs and bacon when you're too tired to test out garlic mashed cauliflower! Which recipe does everyone use for that?

            I had some turkey cutlets in the freezer and thawed them out. Took some parm cheese and crushed pork rind crumbs and dipped the cutlets in a little egg and cream then into the parm cheese/pork rind crumbs and fried them in hot oil! YUM-MO!!!! Cooked up a side of green beans and had a yummy dinner. I have a few leftover so I think I'll heat them up with a salad tomorrow for lunch.

              I made them with cream cheese, butter and some wasabi sauce and garlic and they were pretty tasty. But I much prefer this recipe...

                Happy Wednesday to everyone. Well Im back down to the 166 which was prior to the fall off during the week long cold/flu so Im happy about that. Im in ketosis and have metal mouth so Im happy about that as well. Oh and I managed to ride the bike yesterday in the morning for 20min and then again in the evening for another 20. I even got in 15 this morning. Woohoo im really trying hard this time to get at least 20-30 min a day of cardio during the reinduction. Plus im doing my situps to get help rid and tone up the mid section!!!

                Well I have exactly 2 weeks before I go on a trip to Florida so Im a bit freaked out as I wanted to be at least to my first mini goal of 155. Maybe if I had not gotten sick I would have been able to be much closer to it. The reason why Im really really freaked out is that im going to be seeing 2 X's that I have not seen in over 20 years. I know we are not going to look like we did back then but I wish I look better than I am looking/feeling now. I still have 2 weeks so maybe things will change a little.

                  I know that feeling! I've been avoiding some current friends since we moved here because the last time I saw them, I was 124 lbs! And its not like they care or I'm really all that petty, but I just dread it anyways lol.

                  I really need to go to the grocery store. I think the stress has really zoinked my energy level. I woke up late today so breakfast was the last of the chicken breasts and a tablespoon of dressing (I dont know, I just like it lol). Lunch was some tuna, lettuce and mayo. I need to hit the store up because I'm craving variety! =)

                    Happy Friday!!! Where is everyone???? I hope you are all on trach and staying strong. Just wanted to pop in to check.

                    All is well on my home front. Kuma my furry Kid got into a fight while at Daycare the other day. So he will be getting some training each day to deal with his escalating agression issue. Thats about it for me. I need to get my exercise in for today when I get home since I got up late this morning.

                        Happy Friday folks! Aww, poor Kuma. I used to do behavior rehabiltation training for the SPCA, for the dogs that came in from various cases, before they could be adopted. So big kudos at how attentive you are as a pet mom! You don't see that a lot!!

                        On the pet front, we've been keeping in regular contact with Angela, Molly's new mom. =( But its all positive so I can't be too sad. She's getting along famously with her two other dogs and is learning her touch training and vocal commands really quickly. I was completely wrong and she does have a son (12 yr old) and he's just in love. He's been learning how to train sightless dogs as well so Molly has become his baby as well.

                        On the diet front, I desperately need to go to the store. We had some ice and our town rarely gets it, so we don't have any fabulous committee to come clean it up. So once I got home early yesterday (company sent us home) we were stuck indoors and realized just how empty we are on Atkins-friendly items!

                        So my breakfast was two eggs and some cheese I brought to "scramble" using the microwave here at work. However, it didn't sound appetizing whatsoever so I sadly skipped breakfast. I scarfed down my lunch (roasted chicken with lettuce and cesar dressing) and am now just waiting for dinner. I think I'm gonna FINALLY do those darn mashed fauxtatoes! =)

                        PS I bet Kristi easily has lost another 2-lbs! *proud and jealous all at the same time!* ;-)

                          Kristi, Im sure you have lost some this week. I bet you cant wait to get on that scale. I dont think I can go a week without checking if the scale is around. Well I will have no choice when Im in FL for a week. I do hope I dont fall off. Im a bit scared becuz it will be full service for breakfast/Lunch/Dinner and I have no idea what kind of stuff they will be serving. I will just have to do my best and be good.

                          Britt, I hope you get out to do some shopping soon. Would hate for you to cheat on anything bad. I just got back from lunch and we had the same exact thing. I went to Islands. Not sure if their ceasar dressing had sugar in it so I didnt have much of that. Got a check in call this morning from Kuma's trainer and he scared someone off a bike. Jeez, well its helping him overcome the wheel agression so im glad. He has a ways to go. Im glad to hear Molly is doing well and adapting. Its really fortunate that you had someone close by that deals with blind dogs. I dont think there are that many around.

                          Well I did loose another 1lbs ithis week so far making it 3lbs so Im happy with that. I have another 2 days before the end of week 1 so maybe I can get another pound down. If I can stay on track like this I think I may be able to hit the 160 by the time I leave for Florida on the 19th. Maybe Im being a bit too ambitious.
