  • Two Birds with One Stone.

    Just weighed myself this morning and YESSSSS.. I just met my 2nd goal....

    My doctor also asked me to stop my blood pressure medication, after dropping the dose to half the past 6 weeks or so. (That's my 2nd bird)

    So, not only Atkins is working for my weight loss, blood work, but also for my blood pressure.. Very excited!! (I guess this makes it 3 brids with one stone.. )

    Thanks for everybody's support in this forum. It is a major milestone for me, and I sure would never been able to do it alone. Thanks!

                      Yea I said that before.. I said if I ever make it to my 2nd goal, I will post my before & after pics. Reluctant to post any pics knowing how hideous I look.. hehe.. Oh well.. You asked for it, so don't blame me..

                      Will take some shots this weekend..

                        Here's basically what I'm doing to average a 2-4lb loss each week:
                        • Free Weights M, W, F 40 minutes
                        • Cardio T, Th, S 90 minutes
                        • Average Intake=1300-1400 Average Expenditure=3200
                        • Low sodium (attempting - it's really tricky!)
                        • Grazing Approach
                        • Use of vitamins and whey protein isolate
