It does seem like a lot but you can do it! 113.5 ounces for you is totally doable. Get a gallon jug and fill it with water every day and just try to finish it before the day is out. You don't even need to have the entire gallon because it is 128 ounces. It will seem huge at first but eventually you will really want to drink the water!

I thought it was a lot when I first started out, but when I was properly hydrated, my natural thirst came back and soon I was drinking extra. I thought that after I lost over 100 pounds, I should cut back, but my body said, "No! I still want my 128 ounces per day, plus my herbal teas, thank you very much!" I listen to it.

            Re: water equation?

So i actually measured out how many of my water bottles full I would need to get and It sounded like a lot but when I started doing it today, its actually not. I have got half of it gone already! Now if I can just quit going to the bathroom. Wow, hoping all this water gives me a whoosie, I sure need one!

Anyway I found a much easier way for me to get my water than I was doing.

I used to have a 52oz mug I filled with ice and waterand i "sipped" throughout the day. I usually refilled once but didnt drink all of the second one.

Partly because i had no real water goal. With the ice I didnt know how much i was getting. Also the ice made it terribly cold and i couldnt drink too fast.

Now i have 4 - 1.05 pint water bottles that i keep refilling and chilling (my tap watertastes pretty good) and one of those nly slightly chilled not ice cold is really easy to down.

I set my goal for 7 of those daily. I already have 4 down no prob, not having to force myself. it helps having a daily goal for sure.

1/2 your body weight is one way to figure things.
DANDR tells us a MINIMUM of 64 ounces,
i think the equation you are were seeking for is this: 64 ounces plus 8 oz. for every 25 pounds you want to lose.

Yep I think thats the one I was remembering from last time around. It actually gives me less than when I figure half my weight so Ill go with the largest, cant hurt.
