  • Question about sweetener

I got something from netrition called Sweet one. I was curious about it cause it said it didn't have any splenda in it (which I can't have). So when I got it I read the ingredients and it said it has dextrose in it. Isn't that a form of sugar? It says it has 0 calories and <1 carbs. Anyone know more about this?

    Thanks,

    Susan

    Re: Question about sweetener

All powdered artificial sweeteners, including powdered splenda have dextrose in them, it's the 'bulking agent' that gives them there powder form.

This sweetener is ace-k , basically it's was alot of diet pops are sweetened with and I don't think is one of the recommended sweeteners?
