I am on day 11 of my diet and started adding and eating more. I found some lunch meat that has o carb and 0 sugars. It has been cured in dextrose. Is that a good food to eat or not. Another thing I have started to eat are mini pickles. I do eat a good bit, bad or good. Another thing I am eating alot of is mayo and mustard. Is this a bad thing to do or what. One other thing I have noticed I am doing is eating a lot at night, what is a way to beat this. I am a person that stays up very late(3 am). What do I need to do. I just went to get weighed and only lost 2 pounds. I know that's better than gaining a pound. Just wanted more off. One other question, what does drinking so much water do for you on the diet. sorry for so many questions I just need a boost. Thanks

Real Mayo is good
Make sure you don't use any Fat Free or Light..they add Sugar to that..
Wow if you are up to 3am...it sounds to me its okay to eat later..you shouldn't go more then a few hours between having something to eat..

Dextrose is a form of sugar so I would toss the lunch meats. Also remember most USA companies can put "zero" carbs if its less than one. Imagine eating 10 things that had 0.70 carbs and were listed at zero - that would be 7 more carbs for the day than you meant!
I eat mayo but be careful as this can even contain sugar. Also bear in mind one tablespoon is 100 calories and - if you like mayo like I like mayo - that can add up quick! =) The mustard should be fine but as I'm not a fan, I'll leave that question to the experts around here who do eat it.
I know folks here eat pickles but I do tend to stay away from them. They do have carbs since they are a vegetable - and you need to remember this when you are counting your volume allotments for veggies each day. Its REALLY easy to eat a cup or more of pickles and not register it as part of your veggies for the day and count those carbs.
I stay up til around midnight and I find I can cure late night munchies by drawing things out. If dinner is a fancy recipe and takes me forever to make, I'm too distracted to think of eating. Suddenly I just finished and its 8pm. Then I'll chomp on ice cubes (I know, I know, my dentist has already yelled at me) and maybe have a cup of coffee with heavy cream (fat in food satisfies the hunger) that I drinkly slowly around 10pm.

All great questions hamlove29. Sandy is right about anything ending in "ose" is a form of sugar.
Pickles are not on the list of Induction foods. What is in the list of ingredients? Any sugar listed? Mount Olive does make relish & pickles with Splenda.
Do you have a copy of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution...2002 version? It is a great resource & should be referred to often. Also ADBB is a great resource...check out the sticky notes in the forums
