    What happened to macadamia nut oil?

    When I did this woe 5 years ago, I used lots of macadamia nut oil. Now my store doesn't even carry it. Everyone here is talking about coconut oil. Is there any reason why macadamia nut oil is out of favor? Is coconut oil better for you or less expensive or more versatile? I'm confused!

    I use both, Trader Joe's stocks them.

      i use both too .. & i get mine at Trader Joes as well .. Although i dont know if they have Trader Joes in Ohio??

        Yes! They do and I wll check it out. Thanks for the tip. I remember before it seemed like the "in" oil, if there is such a thing.

          I think macadamia nut oil has gone the way of other weight loss "food fads", like cold pressed flax seed oil and aloe vera juice. So now you can only find it, once again, in specialty stores rather than general grocery stores.
