Hi there I have been on induction for 4 days. My buddies are having a party this weekend, and I know that i cannot partake in beer. I was wondering about vodka and a diet soda. I do not have the atkins book yet so just figured I'd post it out here. Thanks!

You won't have to wait too long... the alcohol rung of OWL (ongoing weight loss) comes quite quickly as it isn't all that high on the ladder... depending of course how long you stay on each rung.Before and after:

Yep, I had to wait too! Just reached the alcohol rung. It won't take you too long. When you do get there you will appreciate it so much more for waiting for it. I had read when I was in induction somewhere that you have to resist urges & temptations, break bad habits. It's true.
It helps you remember any cheating is just that, cheating!
