  • Can I count on you for help?

So the past few weeks have been hard for me. I have been losing weight 7 lbs in a month. But I have cheated a little along the weigh, and I wonder how much more I could have lost. By cheated I mean I always drink my diet soda's especially my diet dr.pepper cherry chocolate (yum yum) and I have been eating my sugar free candy. Not much but enough, and I ALWAYS chew sugar free gum. I am wondering if I could have been losing more than what I have? So I started today with no more cheating. It already has been SSSOOOO hard, because right about now I would be getting up to go and drink that diet soda or reaching in my purse for that gum, or I even have some leftover sugar free easter chocolate, the few pieces that I have eaten. I feel like I cant do this, but I know that I can. I know that I havent cheated cheated, but to me I feel terrible. So here goes to a clean week. Wish me luck, as I will probably need it from all of you, for help and support

Good for you Sweetz, Its amazing how additicted we can get to especially diet cokes and they are really so unhealthy, besides I really feel they are one reason for all the obesity in the world, not to mention rotten teeth and poor health. LOL people who order regular cokes are usually skinny as rails.

Good for you for making a plan!! It is possible that the diet drinks and the sugar alcohols you are consuming could be slowing down your weight loss. Muscling your way through one week cheat free will help clear a path to two weeks, and then a month, and then "soda? so what?"

Hi sweetz...I am having a hard time kicking the diet coke habbit too...and caffeinated coffee...I can't quit coffee just yet, but I am going to try to kick the diet coke. I found diet coke that is made with splenda, but it still has caffeine...and i'm sure its still awful for you. I think for now I am going to try to quit the diet coke. Coffee I am going to hang on to a little longer. Once it starts warming up a bit more here in CT, then I'll try to kick the coffee habbit, it will be easier then lol. As far as the diet soda...we can support eachother on that. The way I see it, if I can actually manage to quit eating sweets and pasta...I sure as **** can quit diet soda if i really put my mind to it!

Dangit. I already blew it, my body was going into MAJOR withdrawal from no soda, and I gave in and drank a half of one. I have not eaten any sugar free cnady yet, but that doesnt matter dh has some non sugar free and I told myself it was okay to have a peice of that. I didnt have much, but still my mind is crazy. I am glad that I dont smoke because I know I wouldnt be able to kick that if I did since I cant even give up soda. My gum is in my purse calling my name, but I still have said no to that. I might just throw it away so it is no temptation. I feel like a failure.

I actually think that I am getting caffeine withdrawal headaches, and I dont know what to do about them.
