  • Michelob Ultra - ???

    Hello everyone...

    I'm going to Disney World on the 12th and my 2-week Induction will be over when I arrive there...I love induction so I will stay on, HOWEVER, we are going to pleasure island a few nights and my favorite beer just so happens to be the low-carb Michelob Ultra. My friends laugh at me because I'm a 2 beer queer. I drink just 2, and I'm buzzed and done (they laugh bc I'm only 24 and they can drink a ton and I can't!) - anyway...

    Is there any harm in that? If I include those carbs into my 20/day? I hear it stalls the weight loss process but as long as it doesn't PUT ON the pounds bc think about it..everyday I will be tempted for Disney World JUNK food but I'm going to deny it all ...walk almost 13 miles a day in the parks..and at night, have a little down time with my mich ultra...

    Thoughts??

    (I only have like 8 pounds to lose and I have a feeling I will lose it all in these 2 weeks bc it's day #3 and I'm already super close to my goal)

    I would say do it, and like you said keep it within your carb counts. Now I no when I drink I trend to get a little on the hungry (picking) side. If that is you than you may want to opt not to drink especially if you are that close to goal or, drink the clear alcohol which is carb free & mix it with diet coke (pepsi).

      Shell - Bell !! My name is MIchelle - my friends call me "Shell-bell" ..haha! Love it

      So yes, I tend to get munchier if I drink the clear alcohol & it kinda makes me really sloppy so I'll stick to the MIch Ultra's and I'll make sure I'll have some kinda of my own atkins munchy-option in my purse to save me from going overboard but thanks for the post! Now I feel 10 times better, haha!

        Beer makes me put on a tad (and i mean like 1 to 2) lbs of water retention weight but it comes off in a day or two. Sometimes less than that. Or at least thats how it effected me last go round on atkins. I did the low carb beer too but I only had one, maybe one and a half.
