    Coke Zero - No Go?

I'm wondering if Coke Zero / Sprite Zero / Fanta Zero etc. are allowed with Atkins or if they are a "No Go".

The choice is yours (I would not have them personally), but I believe they all have Aspartame "Nutra Sweet" in them, which many consider a staller. Not to mention, there are many doctors who believe that Aspartame is really bad for you.

I have found a brand called Waist Watchers, that all have no sodium or caffeine, and they are sweetened with Splenda.

    Good luck.

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.

some people think differently but if you drink your water i cant see why you cant have any of them within reason.

i drink mostly water these days but the odd drink of diet coke has never done me any harm

Hmmm... I turned my back on coffee today, so why not also do the same thing with Zero Soda. I've been struggling the past 4 weeks, so now I do want to eliminate anything that might stall or slow down my weight loss. I guess I'll see in 4 weeks time what effect it has on me, not including it in my diet.

        Thanks Guys!

Thanks Spazzy... but unfortunately neither are being sold here. Productwise Switzerland is a "Atkins Desert"... or the prices are horrendous!

Re: Coke Zero - No Go?

After I have all my water drank for the day, I allow myself to have a Zero Cherry Coke (my fav). It does not stall me nor does it cause my ketosis to lower & does not cause cravings. The best way to see how it effects you is to go for it and see. I would not do more than 1 time a day though.

If you are a slow loser I would not drink coke zero, etc. Stick with water and see if your losses improve.

Ohh.... I gave in an had a small bottle of Fanta Zero yesterday... this morning when I weighed it did not hat an affect on the weight loss. I was 0.4 kg down in comparison to Sunday morning. Maybe I'll have some occasionally.
