Standing on second base, halfway home, eyeing third as I've lost now 1/2 of my weight goal this morning. Another ten pounds or so and it off to buy some midway cheap suits to replace my present somewhat baggy suits.................ck

for the suits: when i was losing the second hand clothing stores were my best friend! Rather than spend money on new stuff I bought second hand...everything from jeans to designer stuff..you'd be amazed at what you can find! and then once that's too big, you can recycle again for the next person...

I agree, I havent bought new clothes (apart from undies) for a few years now, sort of got addicted to charity shops!

I'm in sales and getting a little nervous about work clothes. Take a look at Marshall's and Ross. They have some nice suits for a lot less. My best spot is Ann Taylor Loft. A lot of times I'll find 60 dollar pants for 10-15 bucks on the clearance rack. I don't normally wear suit jackets since I ride my motorcycle to work but the ones I have are easy to match and don't need replaced as often. A good black, brown and beige jacket can be combined with lots of different bottoms. I shopped those three spots heavily when I first went back to sales. I hate spending a ton of money knowing I'll have to replace do it again in three months. It's on thing that makes slow losses a little easier to take. If I lost faster I'd have to work nakid!

Awesome job! You must be on top of the world. I, too, am a second hand shopper. Our Goodwill store and Salvation Army store has the nicest, high quality clothes for just a couple of dollars. I get so many complements on my $5 wardrobe and I get a kick out of telling the person where it came from and how much I paid!
