    Hayfever - antihistamines OK?

    Hi Guys

I suffer with tree pollen and get itchy eyes, ears, nose and a chronic sore throat. Thankfully, as soon as the tree pollen is over, I am fine so my hayfever is short lived.

Can I take an anti-histamine without any probs on the WOL?

I feel miserable today with it.

    Thanks

I take them all the time and have experienced no difficulties.

zyrtec is available OTC now and I've been taking that, I'm pretty sure its ok. It works good for me and it doesn't make me tired like benedryl does.

I take zyrtac when I go swimming (allergy to cold temperatures, would you believe!!) to ward off anaphylactic shock. So far it hasn't hindered me at all.

Thanks guys. For some reason, I thought you were not supposed to take them but am probably confusing them with another medication. In any case, I come down with full blown flu symptoms if I don't take them so there's not much choice! It's only for a few weeks.
