  • UK people - marmite cheese!

I know you either love it or hate it - well I LOVE MARMITE and have really missed it.

I picked up some marmite cheeses (next to babybel etc.) today and they are delicious (0.2g per cheese).

They may have been around for a while but I've never noticed them before.

I've not noticed them either and am not sure what the taste combination would be like, but I do still have marmite now and again - spread on a slice of buttered flax bread! You could use revolution rolls too.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Oooh...I love Marmite and I'm not a UK person. I'll have to keep an eye out to see if they start carrying Marmite cheese here.

Why CANT you have marmite? We have Vegemite here which is practically the same, and I love it. It' not high in carbs so why cant we have it?

Bleugh! I'm a marmite hater - but I'm intrigued by the cheese combo - I think it would balance it out and make it ok - will look out for it. Thanks :-0

I think because it's typically eaten on toast.

You can have marmite on induction! But it is fairly salty so might cause problems for people who have water retention issues from salty foods.

Yes, you can have it. The reason why I've missed it is because I have nothing to spread it on!
Alexa - I reckon if you don't like marmite, you won't like these as they are very marmitey! Similar to marmite mini cheddar crisps (from memory of course!) x

I suppose you could make crisps from this cheese by cooking chunks or slices in the microwave!

That sounds nice E. Last time I made flax crackers/cheese crackers, I got a bit addicted so am saving them for pre-maintenance!
