    i got diarhea

    hello everyone.....
    i restarted atkins on 3 days ago....
    n nw...i guess i hv to re-re start it...lol...
    got diarrhea this morning..... after i got diarrhea i ate oats....
    and i hv 2 skipped school for that
    anyways...i guess i'll be starting atkins induction AGAIN tomorrow.....
    hope this time i won't get diarrhea or anyting else anymore.....

    What foods are you eating? It might be something in your menus that is giving you diarrhoea.
    Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

    F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )

      A lot of people have that problem at first. Especially an unusual amount of fat added to your diet can cause it. Also, sugar free products sweetened with sugar alcohols will do it every time. Atkins done correctly can cause some problems with adjustment at first, but will correct it's self and go away in a few days if you just continue on with induction as written. Stopping and starting will throw off your results.

        since you are on induction, you are having almost no sugars, and if you had candida/yeast overgrowth, it could very well be a die-off. I had the runs for 3 weeks and It's gone now and so are all my symptoms of yeast overgrowth

          hmm...must be the anchioves my grandma bought me.....lol...
          its dried under the sun...processed food.....i guessing that's what caused the diarrhea...lol...

          yea...tnx sunny...i have re-restarted induction today....
          tnx for the advice....i'll stick on to induction....starting today until well...i get bored with the menu???lol....
          yea....haha....until i get bored with the menu...haha...

          i think i got normal diarrhea.....must be the anchioves i ate....

            bowel problems are very common when you switch eating habits. for instance, i've gone so long without cake/ice cream/simple sugars and carbs of any kind, i'm sure if i ate some now i would get diarrhea. i wonder if there is a way for you to ease yourself into atkins induction... what did you eat?

              lol..hey chucks...
              hmm....now a days i eat lots of eggs...mostly eggs actually....
              some chicken meat and fishes....beancurd too.....lol....
              btw....glad to see that you are just few pounds away from ur GW......gud luck losing the lost few pounds....=D
