I am trying to think positive right now, but so far 4 different doctors said it sounds like I have gall stones. Still awaiting the ultrasound results from my family doctor; so when I get those I'll fill you all in. Until then I am curious to know what others went through and how they come to find out they had gall stones. Were you told that it was from doing Atkins? One doctor told me this was diet related and that I shouldn't think of this plan as a way of eating that it is only meant to be done for 3-4 weeks at a time. (how untrue) Anyway, now my family is all talking behind my back saying they knew this diet was unhealthy, yadda yadda... and I'm feeling confused, discouraged, annoyed...and damn right
off. I just got back on track. Today would have been my 2 week cheat free mark
. I feel hopeless like I will never reach my goal now because I honestly believe this is the only plan I can succeed on...it is the only one so far Ive ever had any success with.
Please someone tell me there's hope out there and give me some advice.
PS...******I was following plan and had these attacks of pain 3 nights in a row but only after DINNER! I ate bacon and eggs all 3 days for breakfast and experienced no discomfort what so ever after the meal or all day prior to dinner. They say the pains are caused from consumption of too much fats and my gall bladder was contracting/producing bile to digest the fats and causing the pain. If that is the case then why wouldn't a greasy meal of bacon and eggs fried in butter do the same?? Is that weird or what? Or is this common? ********
