  • 14 day induction complete!!

Hello, I am cross posting this from the century club.

Yesterday was the end of our 14th day of induction. I have lost 15lbs and my wife has lost 7lbs . We were both pretty excited. She felt a little discouraged about her weight loss but I told her that I had more to lose and that many feel men seem to lose faster than women. She’s ok with it though

The beginning was pretty rough for me but I knew it would be. Cravings almost got to me a couple of times but my wife saved me and we pushed forward together. Thanks honey for being there for me! The persistent headache on day and two was pretty rough also. I drank over a gallon of water a day; I think that helped the most.

We are going to stay on induction for a while and see where we are 2 weeks from now. The food has not gotten boring yet so I think we will be ok.

Thanks for the support everyone. We are off to extended induction. Right now we are going to celebrate our weight loss with a big bowl of ice cream and cake.

Phew! I was about to yell "DON'T DO IT" when I saw your final line!

Congrats to you both for your induction success! That's awesome... and even more awesome that you're there for each other when the need arises.

You're absolutely right... men lose weight far more easily and quickly than women, on the whole. It's one of life's unfair disparities. Grrrrrrr!
Infuriating though it is to we women, tell your wife to try and concentrate on direction rather than speed. Once you're both at goal, the time spent on the weight loss phase will seem to have gone by in a flash.

      Happy further losing!

        Well done both of you
It is great for you both to have someone else that understands and joins you on your journey towards better health and slimmer bodies!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
