I was watching Celebrity Fit Club last night and the winning team admitted to low carbing at the end to lose alot of weight to win. Tina Yothers said that the team ate chicken and drank lots of water to win. She ended up losing 11 pounds in less then a week. She stated that this is not for something long term but that's what they did to win it.
Also on The Biggest Loser not sure if any of you remember but the brothers on the show was doing some form of Low Carb at one point and Bob the trainer was upset saying that it wasn't healthy and you need carbs.
I just find it ironic how low carbing gets such a bad rap but so many are using it to their advantage when they want to.
