So I have been doing good and going strong for about 3.5 weeks. I am thrilled to have lost what I have lost and have no desire to carry that weight around on me again. So heres my problem I moved into the vegie rung after induction. For the last week I have felt out of sorts....groggy..almost drugged type of feeling in my head and not to mention a headache that is constant. I feel it more though when i bend over or do something that requires lifting or pressure or what not. Yesterday was the worst day I felt so sick the entire day and could barely do anything. Today is not so bad except for the headache and feeling tired. I know its not what im eating. I have done atkins before and know the how to..so im at a loss as to why i feel this way. I have just been dealing with it because i dont want to quit, but at this point I am thinking maybe I should just switch to counting calories and bring back the things im not supposed to have. I dont know why I am feeling this way this time around I did this effectively back in 05 and got to where i wanted to be then came my daughter. I have a lot more to lose this time around and I just cant imagine going week after week feeling like this. My daily life is interrupted due to the fact I have no energy and feel sick most of the time. I know this woe isnt for everyone and I really dont want to admit i might be one of those people but I just dont know what to do..is it ok to switch to counting calories and carbs? I mean I am in NO way going back to fast food and junk I am more than commited..but I am thinking I need those fruits and grains that I havent been eating. I am also taking vitamins so thats not the problem either I take gnc no iron womens vit and omega 3/6/9 capsules. HELP PLEASE!!! thx

Re: BIG problem need help!!
This may be a dumb question but could it be that you might actually have the flu? Those symptoms sound like it...
Maybe it's something with the veggies you're eating?
I'm not an expert but do your best to pay attention to what you're eating and try and do a process of elimination to pinpoint what food might be causing thing.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. May have nothing to do with what you're eating. My doctor told me to stop having intimate dinners for four. Unless there are three other people.
~Orson Welles

Everytime I am tempted to use food to satisfy my frustrated desires, build up my injured ego, or dull my senses, I will remember,
That even though I overeat in private, my excess poundage is there for all the world to see.

Re: BIG problem need help!!
it also may be low blood pressure. I suffered from dizzyness for a long time... to the point where I would have to stop everything I was doing... i was eating high carb at the time... but you might want to look into that... hope you are feeling better soon. maybe scale back on the carbs and see if you notice a differenc in the next couple of days...
FEEL BETTER... and congrats so far!
