  • Clothing Problem!

I have a clothing problem.. MY PANTS DON'T FIT ANYMORE! LOL

I have size 50's which is where I was in January but I bought a size 46 3 weeks ago and they are falling off of my behind! This is a *GOOD* thing technically but how should I approach buying clothes now?

I was thinking maybe I should go a size or two smaller and wear one of those extenders with my jeans so I can fit into them before I'm actually IN that size; so when I get to that size I can just remove the extender and they fit.

Any better ideas? Clothes are expensive if you gotta keep buying them every few months!

I have shirts that fit its just mainly my pants that are WAYY too big now!

Any suggestions and/or comments are welcome!

    Re: Clothing Problem!

Oh, I don't know about guys but I by stretch jeans and that helps me. Not really sure what an extender is but I can probably guess. That might be a good idea if your shirts cover over. I know what you mean about clothes being expensive though. I had to give a presentation in class and none of my dress clothes fit. I had to go with one pair of pants and roll them up twice at the waist!

Cant help you with the pants issue, but congrads on your weight loss. Me personally, I prefer my pants a little loose. So I'll wear them 1 size too big. That's just me. God Bless, Joe

Haha I know, what a terrible "problem" eh? I just kept wearing the same clothes for as long as possible, tightening my belt more and more (eventually I had to buy a new belt too!). When that just didn't work anymore my wife went and bought me some clothes at a second hand shop. The buying pants a couple sizes too small is a good idea. I didn't have an extender though so I just bought ones that I could fit into but were a little small. Uncomfortable but not too bad and soon enough they fit fine.

Love to have that problem!!! Do you have a value village or salvation army or second hand clothes store near you??? I find they are great when you are losing weight because you can get some really awesome clothes for pretty cheap, and you can always redonate them when they dont fit anymore!!
