HI All - I'm on day 9 of induction, and alls been going well, lost 5lb so far, and all symptoms (headaches etc) are gone - feeling greeeaat!!. For the past couple of days I've been hungry sooner than usual - like 1 hour after a snack (1oz cheese & a big tomato wedge), my tummy starts rumbling again. Usually I dont even need a snack between breakfast (eggs bacon mushroom cheese) and lunch, but for the past two days, I've needed two snacks let alone one!! Anyone else get days where they are just hungrier than others, where it seems like whatever you put in just gets used up immediately? Thanks all!!!

I had a hungry day yesterday!! Try to include some fat in your meals & snacks along with protein. Put some mayo on the tomato!

I have extra hungry days when I do a more intense AM workout and I find that eating extra fat does help me also. -yesterday was one of them. I did Tae Bo instead of WATP and I was famished by 10am and that was AFTER a bigger than normal breakfast at 8:30
I think someone already suggested that so I'm co-signing that
Coconut oil is really helping me. I put that stuff in EVERYTHING now.

I have been doing Atkins for over 2 years, and still have a really hungry day every once in a while. Boiled eggs with some mayo usually fills me up. Sometimes you have a lot of hunger right before your body lets go of some more fat. It's like it is trying to get you to give in and keep the fat from leaving.People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.

When I'm hungry, I eat....legal stuff of course. First thing though--have a glass of water---just incase it's really thirst and not hunger. then, if you're still hungry----eat!
