  • wii fit????

anyone else here use wii fit? any other time i've been on atkins i've never been able to keep up doing any sort of excercise. but this time i've been using wii fit and i love it. i can really feel the difference in my muscles and its nice to have the on screen trainer being supportive and egging you on(i know its not a real person or anything but for some odd reason it really does make a difference!).
i was just wondering if anyone else out there is using wii fit with atkins too?

I haven't tried it yet, but we love the Wii at our house. I know boxing and tennis help me work up a good little sweat. I might give it a shot!

I didn't know they had such a thing. I used to have the eye toy exercise thing. You had to have a really long space to exercise in for it to work. I do love the wii though and it makes my arms sore. I am going to have to try to find that!

It comes out on the 21st in the states, it has been out a couple of weeks already in other countries. I didn't preorder cause I thought one of my kids would do it for my birthday/mother's day gift....but they didn't. Hopefully they have some left after the preorders are given out.

I've got the wii fit and we all love it!
I am doing between 30-45 minutes on it a day and it is so much fun. I usually do a mixture of the aerobic exercises, step plus, hula hooping and rhythm boxing, the time flies by and it doesn't feel like exercise at all.
I've only been doing it just over a week, so I can't report any major changes in me although I will say that I come off of it feeling like I have had a good workout

Hubby says the muscle workouts are really hard, so I am working my way up to them. He also recommends the yoga.

We're getting it!!! I can't wait. We're getting it once we come back from our Vacation though (we're saving for GAS right now *sigh* the gas for us to drive to Delaware, then North Carolina, then back to Georgia is going to be TERRIBLE). We should have it by the end of June. I'm sooooo excited

sorry i didnt realise that it wasn't out in the states yet. i'm so glad that a few people are interested in it though, i started off just doing the balance games and a few of the aerobics exercises but now i mainly do the muscle and yoga. i've been doing it for almost 2 weeks now and i can definitely feel a difference, and i've started to do more reps of the exercises as well. plus when my weight stalled last week i didnt feel bad or like i was gonna give up cause i knew i was still getting something out of the wii fit(plus i was able to blame it one all those tonnes of muscle i was gaining!!!! ) best of luck to everybody who gets it, i hope it helps you as much as me

                  Re: wii fit????

I've heard of the wii but was never interested until I decided it might be a fun excersize tool. So do I need a specific machine (like a nintendo) and then pick up the tapes I want. Sorry, I don't have kids and I'm just a little outdated on things

                    Re: wii fit????

I'm green with envy! I would love to do Wii fit in the mornings and stick to my evening routine at the gym. Being able to workout twice a day is a dream of mine. Hubby said I probably won't be able to find it and I know he's right. It's all the rage. Any advice on actually getting one? Is there a waiting list I can put my name on?

I saw a lady buying one at Game Stop yesterday. She said she pre ordered it. It cost her $85. I watched the demo videos. It looks like fun. I would like to try the jogging part and yoga.

HAHAHA! I stood in line for one. Got it. Took it home. Hooked it up. I'm too fat! Ok ok...I know that I weigh 344 (340 after my first day of induction), and I know that the box says the limit is 330...but seriously. I thought I could trick it. NO WAY! It is entirely too smart for that! Anyhow, the hubby is thoroughly enjoying it, as will I after my two weeks of induction! Just thought I'd ask if anyone else encountered the same.
