  • flab before fab?

This may sound silly but I wondered if it is all in my head.....

The pounds aren't necessarily flying off of me, but I'm getting smaller.

However....it's like my stomach especially is more flabby now than before...like it's loose.

    Is that normal?

I'm not sure. I guess it depends upon whether or not you are strength training. I am STing 3 days a week and I'm very pleased with the results. It's really helped with the flab. I have much less of it!

I have been watching my stomack and looks like it is bigger but I think it is a relative thing. My hips are smaller and I have a waistline so my stomack which seems to retain its fat longer looks bigger. That is my experience.

NO. your skin is just looser as there is LESS fat, making the remaining fat look sloppy and droopy. Keep losing, do some situps, rub a LOT of vitamin E cream into your skin for elacticty.

That happened to me and several other people--it's been discussed before. Just keep going with the WOE and exercise, and the jiggle will firm back up.
People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.

I notice this especially on my upper arms--even though they measure less than they did 6 months ago they do look kinda loose and flabby--I think as the fat goes the skin takes a while to regroup--like your tummy skin after having a baby but eventually it smooths out, at least I hope so. I am taking flax seed oil daily because it is supposed to aid the skin elasticity. Resistance training is also important.
